The Dolat Abad Garden is one of the most notable and magnificent Persian gardens that is deemed very significant due to its placement in the heart of the desert. According to the historical records, this garden was built outside of the borders of the city of Yazd at the order of Mohammad Taghi Khan-e-Bafghi during the Zand era (18th century).
The Dolat Abad Garden and its components only came about after the creation of the Dolat Abad Qanat. The Dolat Abad complex includes a number of practical constructions that had been built with specific architectural characteristics to fulfill the different needs of its residents back in the day.
